A default style sheet that’s part of a browser. If the designer declares no style rules, then the defaults from the browser will be applied. Most browsers tend to apply style sheets to all the web documents. While these style sheets vary from one browser to another, they have certain common traits such as purple visited links, black text, and blue links etc. These are all referred to as “default” browser style sheet.
