They are calculated only by the search engine’s algorithm and are entirely based on the listed page’s merits. Typically, search engines display numerous sponsored ads that are related to search terms, before they display any of the organic or unpaid listings. The paid and natural listings are generally separated by white spaces or lines, to indicate the demarcation.
