In order to keep up with the rising popularity of Google and Facebook as the premier online ad platforms, Bing has released some new advertising technologies available for marketers across the globe. According to Search Engine Land, Bing Ads announced on Monday that its automated bidding tools, Maximize Conversions and Target CPA, are now available for marketers and businesses in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
This update presents marketers with an effective solution to securing an unlimited amount of conversions from advertising campaigns. It remains to be seen how practical these new ad technologies will be, but there is room to speculate that marketers will benefit tremendously from using Bing as an advertising platform.
Bing Ads Have Become More Effective
Bing is starting to appeal to businesses with limited budgets and little patience to grind out extensive marketing campaigns by rolling out two new features, including:
- Maximize Conversion: This new feature aims to generate as many conversions as possible for businesses according to their budget. Advertisers will have the option to select the Cost per Click (CPC) amount, but they will be unable to manage ad groups and keyword bids.
- Target CPA: This feature will give advertisers the opportunity to generate the average cost per acquisition (CPA) for their campaign. Using this feature, advertisers can obtain exclusive control over the efficiency of their ads in relation to their marketing budget.
Scalability is very important in all aspects of marketing. Although large corporations may be comfortable spending millions of dollars on advertising campaigns that may not hit the mark, small businesses don’t have that luxury. For this reason, Bing Ads are becoming attractive and effective for small businesses looking to receive more control over the money they spend on advertising while achieving their marketing objectives commensurate with their budget.
Bing Ads are Now Fully Customizable
It’s no secret that many businesses lack the expertise to create effective ads and prefer to outsource their marketing initiatives to marketing agencies. That approach is fine, but businesses can now fully customize their ads and receive real-time feedback from Bing on its results.
Bing will use a variety of indicators to access the potency of specific ads, such as operating systems, browsing activities, ad copy, and search queries. The ad platform also makes quality adjustments to your ads, depending on the time of day or day of the week.
These Features are Only Eligible for Certain Businesses
To to be eligible for these new features, a campaign needs to have at least 15 conversions within the past 30 days. This exception allows Bing to learn and optimize better advertisement strategies that will achieve your target goals. Essentially, these machine-automated features receive your ad data, creating effective methods of reaching your target audience.
As such, businesses that use Bing as an advertising platform are strongly encouraged to constantly experiment with the platform to allow Bing to learn more about your data. Once this result is obtained, Bing will work to create effective ads that will improve both your conversions and return on investment.
